Fairly unanimous here, most of the votes last week went to Big L’s “Put It On” video. Another day-in-the-life type deal, but L keeps it relatively fresh, and more importantly the rhymes are unstoppable. Watching this you can only wonder what could have been as many believe he had the talent to assert himself as one of the top emcees in the game today.

Oh man, everytime I hear L I think about how big he would be today. So sad that he had to die before blowing up. Sometimes I think he never really believed in being able to make it himself. RIP, L.
